Archiving Policy

The International Journal of Women and Children (IJWC) implements a digital archiving policy to ensure the long-term preservation and security of all published content.

IJWC utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and/or CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) systems as part of its digital preservation strategy. These systems allow participating libraries to create permanent archives of journal content to ensure continued access in the event that the journal website becomes temporarily or permanently unavailable.

In addition, IJWC encourages authors to deposit the published version of their articles in:

  • Institutional repositories
  • National repositories
  • Other trusted academic repositories

This archiving policy supports IJWC’s commitment to open access, sustainable publishing practices, and the preservation of scholarly knowledge.
