About the Journal

The International Journal of Women and Children (IJWC) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Center for Gender and Child Studies (PSGA), Universitas Cenderawasih. The journal provides a scholarly platform for academics, researchers, and practitioners to publish original research, conceptual studies, and policy analyses related to women’s studies, children’s studies, and gender issues within local, national, and international contexts.

IJWC promotes an interdisciplinary approach to knowledge development and is committed to open access publishing and a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, integrity, and academic contribution of each published article. The journal is published periodically and aims to strengthen the global visibility of research, particularly from Eastern Indonesia and indigenous communities.
